On Sunday, we ran some errands and Ryleigh was fine. She went down for her nap and we woke her up after an hour or so. We notices she had a slight cough, which is how her last 2 episodes of RSV have shown up. We went to my co-worker's Super Bowl party and noticed Ryleigh was just in a funk. Not her usual self. Even when she's in a new place, she warms up eventually, but not this time. We stopped by my parents house and she STILL didn't get out of her funk, which was a shocker since she LOVES Grampa's house!! We got home and gave her a breathing treatment just in case it is RSV again. She also had a fever and almost fell asleep sitting up doing the treatment - not at all like she's acted when sick before. Made her a doctor appointment for Monday afternoon. Come to find out, she didn't have RSV... she has Croup and Pink Eye!! UGH! She got a shot of steroids to help with the Croup. Tuesday, she stayed home with Gramma and Grampa. She woke up from her nap crying for Mommy... totally NOT Ryleigh. Wednesday Chris stayed home with her and she was tired and clingy too. Today she took a 4 hour nap and she woke up much better. She's had rapid breathing using her accessory muscles to breath. Every time she coughs she'd whine and complain that her tummy hurts... not sickly pain, but achy pain. Her muscles hurt from breathing. And every night she's been waking up crying multiple times a night wanting cuddles. Ryleigh is not a cuddler. She's got another dr. appt tomorrow to make sure she's not getting worse (since she's still not really getting better). I have to say Croup is WAY worse than RSV!!
On another note - our house is 3 weeks from being finished!! Chris went out today to see the progress since he had to stay home with Ryleigh again today.
They're getting ready to put up the brick fences. And dug the trenches and laid the electrical for the pool.
The pool got ReBar.
And the plumbing is done too.
We have a front door.
And a stair rail. And texture on the walls.
Shelves in the pantry.
And in the closets.
A Master bath tub.
And interior doors, including closet doors.
Very impressed with everything they've done in just a few days. It definitely is looking like a house now!
