Now that we have all the furniture we ordered, I guess it's time for a tour. We're not completely unpacked, and we still need to figure out what to store and where it's going to be stored, but here's what our house looks like so far.
The den/office - aka. the unofficial storage room. We haven't found a desk yet for this room, so until then, the boxes will sit. We used this room as a dumping ground for boxes when we were moving in, so some of them are still there. But Chris's dad, Rusty, tackled the challenge of putting the ceiling fan up in the room with 14 foot ceilings. And it looks great!
Chris loves this piece of art and it fits pretty well in the niche in the entry. It's still growing on me.
Downstairs Powder Room
Dining Room - We probably won't get a dining room table any time soon. It will be a great room to have the Christmas tree and all the presents for the holidays. We joke that it's our Christmas tree room. All the stuff on the wall needs to find a home in storage somewhere.
Laundry Room - Messy yes - still trying to figure out how to organize it.
Master Bedroom - We finally have a head board!!
We still have a ton of space between the bed and the dresser.
Master Bathroom -
Great Room - We had to paint the wall before the wall unit arrived so we didn't have to worry about moving the wall unit out of that niche. When the wall unit arrived, we found out the trim pieces on the top made it too big to fit in the space. So the guy is having the center credenza re-done to make it fit. So that tv isn't supposed to be sitting on the coffee table, there will be a center section to the wall unit in about a month.
Nook
The Kitchen - I love my kitchen!! It all came together so well!
The loft
Guest Bedroom - One day we'll get a head board for this bed.
Guest Bathroom
Craft Room/Temporary Office
Ryleigh's Reading Nook on the landing
Ryleigh's Playroom - this room will be her room when we have another kiddo.
Ryleigh's Bathroom
Ryleigh's Room - This room will stay the nursery when we have another kiddo. We converted her crib to a toddler bed. She loves getting in and out by herself.
And out to the backyard... the pool is STILL not done due to the pool fence. Apparently the bars are supposed to be no more than 4 inches apart. On several panels it was 4 1/8" or 4 1/16" and near the posts it was up to 4 1/2". So they came out to redo the large gaps near the posts. And it failed inspection again do to the 1/8". So they had to come out and redo the entire fence and put in new panels. So hopefully this week it passes inspection so we can get the pebbletec done and fill it up!

All our landscaping got done this week. We still need some trees and plants, but the basic structure is there.

Hope you enjoyed the tour!
