Cinnamon Roll Saturday

Cinnamon Roll Saturday is a tradition that got started... a long time ago in our family. My mom usually makes pans and pans (and pans and pans) of home made cinnamon rolls in the weeks before Easter. One year, Easter snuck up on us, and she didn't have time to make any. So she declared the Saturday before Easter was going to be the day she HAD to make all the cinnamon rolls. We jokingly called it Cinnamon Roll Saturday. Which lead to a sign I made for Cory's door, since he was so NOT taking Cinnamon Roll Saturday seriously. That sign somehow managed to stay up on his door, then later the hall closet door for years. So every saturday before Easter is Cinnamon Roll Saturday in our house, complete with a sample batch of cinnamon rolls of course!

Well we all went over to my parents house for CRS. Topher came over too since Kristin ("tistin") was up in Prescott visiting her family. Cory came up from Tucson. It was a full house. Chris and Kristin got Ryleigh an Easter basket, so she got her first taste of basket hiding. Uncle Chris hid her first basket.

"Easter basket, where are you?" (This is the phrase that's YELLED, when we tell her to go find something nowadays.)

Ryleigh has so much fun with her Uncles! And of course there were test cinnamon rolls. Was too engulfed in eating to remember to take photos :)
