17 months old!

Ryleigh is 17 months old today.

*She is running all over the place.

*She likes to walk wherever we go now, and is always asking to get "out" when she's in the shopping cart or stroller.

*She is still in a size 5 diaper.

*She wears almost all 18 month clothes now. (Still can squeeze into some 12 months onesies, and is in 24 month long pant bodysuits.)

*She is right on the edge on shoes. She wears a size 4, but not for much longer.

*She still loves books. Everyday in the car she asks for her baby and her book. A car trip isn't complete without both.

*She asks for her clothes every day as soon as she gets up. "shoes", "Socks", "bow"--always. She forgets about shirt and pants unless you remind her.

*She jabbers like crazy and is talking more and more everyday. Some of which is even becoming more understandable.

*Her new favorite animal is a "fish". She loves seeing fish, and eating goldfish.

*She knows many animal sounds. I need to post the video of her doing them all. When someone says "cow" on tv, she'll automatically say "moo".

*She knows all her body parts: Head, hair, eyes, nose, mouth, teeth, cheeks, ears, tongue, arm, hand, fingers, elbow, belly, back, knee, leg, foot, toes.

*She waves hi and bye, but only says "bye". She gives hugs, kisses and noses. She will even give hugs, kisses and noses to her babies.

*She's starting to get the hang of climbing. She climbs onto the couch, into her highchair. She tries to climb out of the bath by herself. She climbs up a few steps on her own but can't get back down, but it's enough to manuver the levels at the park.

*She still loves dancing. We had to retire "Single Ladies" for our own sanity. But any music that comes on she'll dance in circles to. She even jams in the car.

She is growing up so much every day! Time sure flies when you see it through the age of a child.
