We got home from California on Christmas Eve, just in time for Ryleigh to get a quick nap before Church. Then my parents came over to our house for the our traditional Christmas Eve dinner of Chinese food and pizza. We had to pick up the Chinese food before church though because Pei Wei closed early due to the holiday. So we tried to warm it up in our microwave... and discovered our microwave went out, great way to start the holiday... Thankfully my parents have a collection of appliances in their garage from their kids' college days...

Chris got Ryleigh a pink ball and glove. Here he is trying to show her what it is, and she's totally how having it. She pretty much threw it aside and said "yeah... great..."

Papaw and Grandma G were on hand for early morning Christmas festivities. They got presents too. Photo mugs for each of them.

This was Ryleigh's "big" present. She'd been wanting this for a very long time. Every time she saw it in an ad or toy catalog she'd have to point it out to us and tell us how much she wanted it. Every time we went to a toy store and she saw it in the toy aisle, she'd have to stop and look at it.
She got one end of the present opened, and could peer in and see what it was. Then she pushed it around to all of us and made us all peek inside too before she could finish opening it.

Her final present from Papaw and Grandma G. We made her help us carry the recycles into the garage, and she found a new PRINCESS BIKE!
She went to try it out, but it was cold and windy!! So it was a short ride down the driveway.
Then it was time to eat breakfast and get dressed and continue the Christmas festivities.
