Memorial Day weekend we didn't do much. Hayden, Ryleigh and I were getting over some nasty stomach bug that hit each of us different. Hayden had lower GI issues (thus the cloth diaper covers in the photos below). Ryleigh has upper GI issues for one day. And I was just so incredibly exhausted that I missed our Graduation Banquet - one of my favorite days of the year. So by Memorial Day weekend, we were just ready to relax.
May 26, 2014 - It was one of the first days the pool got used. Hayden was eager to get in. This year we decided to do rescue swim lessons, but he hadn't started the lessons yet. This weekend showed us that he NEEDED those lessons. He was way too comfortable and fearless around the water.
Loves being in the water. But came to hate that floatie. He wanted to SWIM!

Hayden LOVES exploring outside. He begs us to go outside and he just is a busy bee out there. He loves going into the play house and milling around, playing with some toys in there.
May 27, 2014 -
Hayden has started tantrums. They aren't full blown yet, but he melts down when things don't go his way.
On this day, we were eating breakfast. He was in the middle of eating but he saw the umbrella outside. This kid LOVES his umbrellas, so he wanted to go outside to get the umbrella. After just telling him "sorry buddy, we can't go outside right now." This is the face I got. So cute, yet such a sad, pitiful fae.
These two love each other. They were playing in the bath together, when Hayden discovered Ryleigh's hair was much more fun to play with than his toys. And she didn't care!
